Arroyo Seco Campground
Los Padres National Forest
Both developed campground sites and primitive campsites available. Developed sites can accommodate any size RV, but there is no electrical, water, ewer hook-ups or dumpsite on-site. All sites have a picnic table, fire ring and pedestal barbecue grill.Coin operated showers and flushable toilets provided, both handicap accessible. Primitive sites allow for one vehicle per single site. Each has a picnic table, fire ring and pedestal barbecue grill. Pit toilets provided.
Directions: From Highway 101 north, exit at Arroyo Seco road near the city of Greenfield and proceed 16.2 miles to the junction of Carmel Valley Road and Arroyo Seco Road and bear left; the sign at the junction says “Public Campground.”
Follow the road 3.4 miles to the campground. From Highway 101 south, south exit at Arroyo Seco road and make an IMMEDIATE LEFT at Elm Ave. (If you get to the “Entering Greenfield” sign you have passed the left turn.)
Follow Elm Street for 6 miles and turn left at the “T” onto Arroyo Seco Road. Proceed 6.5 miles along Arroyo Seco Road to the junction with Carmel Valley Road and bear left; the sign at the junction says “Public Campground.” Follow the road 3.4 miles to the campground.
Escondido Campground

Located at 2,200 feet in Los Machos Hills. No water, first-come and first-served, limit 14 day stay.
Directions (you can get there by car): take Highway 101 to Jolon Road, turn onto Mission Road, to Del Venture Road. Travel 12 miles to the campground. Last 3 miles is unsurfaced. Longitude 121.4950033 Latitude 36.14147856
San Lorenzo Park
King City
Picturesque park located on the banks of the Salinas River in King City. Campground with tent camping, RV hook-ups and pull-through sites. Water, electric, sewer available at some sites. Amenities include laundry facilities, putting green, internet access kiosk, restroom and shower facilities.

Williams Hill Campground
Southern Monterey County on BLM Land
Lockwood San Ardo Rd, Bradley, CA 93426
Views of the Salinas Valley are spectacular from the 2,700 foot elevation of this campground in a typical forest environment of pine trees, scuba oak and chaparral. Campsites are equipped with RV pads, fire rings, shade structures, picnic benches, vault toilets. No reservations or fees, 14 day camping limit. No electricity, running water or trash collection on-site.
Directions: Take the San Ardo exit and travel west onto Paris Valley Road, turn left onto Lockwood-San Ardo Road. The public lands boundary begins approximately 5 miles down the road from the Lockwood-San Ardo Road turnoff. Once at Williams Hill, the campground can be reached by turning onto road W1 and heading south.
